Video Production
What to expect
We nicknamed the process, The Three P’s of video production. If it’s your first time in the world of business video this should help you prepare for what goes on before, during and after.
-
The planning bit. This involves collaboration between you and us, so we can learn all about your brand personality.
Initial call or meeting to understand what you really want from your video production
Understanding your business, listening to your ideas and discussing your end-goals
The germ of the idea forms - Putting together a creative proposal and estimate
When you’re ready, a 50% deposit will take the project forward.
Moving forward from planning, into design. The creative bit (with some logistics).
Scripting, storyboarding, pitching ideas and turning that creative proposal into a refined schedule of works
Coordinating the production stage to follow; dates, locations and people – anything you need to bring your story to life. -
The fun bit! There’s three essential stages that result in the recording of your video production.
1. Set up
We’ll arrive with everything we need to get filming. You only need to provide the space and the face (if you want to).
2. Filming
We’ll make everyone feel as comfortable as we can in front of the camera. We’ll go over any lines and live action, and do as many takes as you need. We’ll also shoot extra film called B-roll, for cut-scenes and added interest.
3. Pack down
Exactly as it sounds… We’ll pack everything away and leave your space as if we were never there. -
The techy bit. Here’s where your video production comes together through editing, colour and sound checks, just to make absolutely sure it looks and sounds great from brilliant beginning to exceptional end.
Once the video is signed off and delivered, we’ll arrange for the final payment to wrap it up, as we say in the business.
